Wildlife Images Rehabilitation and Education Center

Nestled along the scenic banks of the Rogue River in Southern Oregon, Wildlife Images Rehabilitation & Education Center has been a sanctuary for injured, orphaned, and displaced wildlife since 1981. As a nonprofit organization, our mission is simple but powerful: Rescue. Rehabilitate. Educate. Every visit helps us continue this critical work, offering second chances to wildlife in need while inspiring future conservationists.
At Wildlife Images, we provide expert care for hundreds of wild animals each year- from tiny songbirds to powerful birds of prey, from playful bobcats to awe-inspiring grizzly bears. Many of the animals we care for are rehabilitated and released back into the wild, but some, due to the nature of their injuries, find a permanent home here as Animal Ambassadors. These ambassadors play a crucial role in our educational programs, helping visitors understand the importance of conservation and the delicate balance of our ecosystems.
A visit to Wildlife Images is more than just a walk through a sanctuary- it’s an opportunity to witness conservation in action. Join one of our 1.5-hour guided tours, where expert guides will introduce you to our resident grizzly bears, wolves, bobcats, bald eagles, and a variety of native birds of prey. You’ll hear the remarkable stories of these animals and gain insight into the challenges wildlife face in the modern world.
For educators and families, Wildlife Images offers engaging field trips and hands-on educational programs, like our kid’s summer camps, that bring science and conservation to life. Our programs are designed to inspire curiosity and encourage the next generation to become stewards of the natural world.
Planning a special event? Our beautiful Rotary Pavilion, the tranquil setting of Critter Creek, or even a full campus rental offers the perfect backdrop for weddings, corporate retreats, birthdays, and community gatherings. Hosting your event at Wildlife Images supports our mission while providing your guests with a unique, nature-filled experience.
Visitors are encouraged to explore our grounds, meet our Animal Ambassadors, and stop by the gift shop for wildlife-themed souvenirs. Every ticket purchased, every item bought, and every donation made goes directly toward the rescue, rehabilitation, and care of wildlife in need and helps fund our conservation education programs.
Wildlife Images is conveniently located just 14 miles from Grants Pass and is open year-round for tours, educational programs, and events. Reservations are required for all tours, so be sure to plan ahead to secure your spot.
By visiting Wildlife Images, you’re not just exploring a wildlife center-you’re actively supporting the care of sick, injured, and orphaned animals while helping educate the public on the importance of wildlife conservation.
